About Koren Shadmi
Koren Shadmi was born in Israel, where he has worked since his early teens as an illustrator and cartoonist for various magazines.

When he was 17 He had his first graphic novel published, followed by another book collecting his work from children's magazines. He then served as a graphic designer and illustrator in the Israeli Defense Force.

Upon completion of his service he relocated to New York to study at the School of Visual Arts, where he earned his bachelors degree. His graphic work has appeared in numerous international anthologies, and his books have been published in France, Italy and the US.

Koren's illustration work had appeared in publications such as Spin Magazine, The Village Voice, The Boston Globe, The New York Times, The San Francisco Chronicle and many others. He lives and works in Brooklyn.
