Joshua Kemble is a Xeric Award winning cartoonist/freelance illustrator living in Portland, OR with his fiance Mai Stewart, and his two pugs. He has done freelance illustration for clients ranging from Merrill Lynch to Random House, creating comic books, event posters, editorial illustrations, t-shirts, skateboard designs, and is always seeking new clients and new avenues to create artwork. His artwork is inspired by independent music, and popular culture, and draws from a long held tradition of comic book artwork. When not working on paid illustration work, he is steadily working on his graphic novel "Jacob's Apartment" for NBM Publishing. He is also the co-host of a weekly podcast about the ins and outs of freelance illustration and cartooning "Big Illustration Party Time" with fellow cartoonist/illustrator Kevin Cross.
